Wrecking Ball - TOP 10 COVERS

Here are the TOP 10 Versions/ Covers/ Renditions of Miley’s monster hit, the “Wrecking Ball”. There are a lot of covers on the internet but this covers has something interesting.

1. Christina Grimmie

This is the best version of the song and probably one of the best and most remarkable audition ever performed not only on The Voice but on all Singing Competitions. She blew me away. The clarity, power and unique tone in her voice is unbelievable. I can listen to her all day.

2. Ricky Manning

One of the Most Touching  Rendition of the song. He can wreck anybody’s heart with it.
Ricky killed it and knocked-out Elyjah, I can’t understand why Pharel picked Elyjah over Ricky…thank goodness Gwen stole him, he deserved it; but so sad he didn’t make it to the finals. I hope to hear more from this man because he has some serious talent.

3. Joyce Jimenez

Imperfection is truly not a hindrance. This Girl is so talented and inspiring.
The Best Unedited Cover of the song.

4. Hannah Barrett

The emotions are overflowing.  Hannah truly has a magical voice.

5. Boyce Avenue & Diamond White

Boyce Avenue makes the best covers in the world. B.A. & Diamond White’s version is awesome.

6. Andy Lange, Andrew Garcia, & Josh Golden

The best cover by a group.

7. Tion Phipps

This man is a wrecking ball. Incredible!

8. Jasmine Thompson

This is a really cool soft version of the song.

9. Chester See

A very soulful cover.

10. Stephen Kardynal

This is Genius! LOL! The Most Hilarious Cover . hahaha

Miley Cyrus (Official)

Miley has one of the best voices in the Showbiz Industry. The song is outstanding but I’m just not a fan of the music video. I like the old Miley. Her change was so drastic and over the top, maybe I’m just not used to seeing her like that. They called her change a form of artistry and leveling up, so I respect it.

I Will Follow You into the Dark

This two versions is the best covers of “I Will Follow You into the Dark”, an original of the band Death Cab for Cutie. These men made the song like their own.

I Will Follow You into the Dark – Cover by Kurt Hugo Schneider

Kurt knows how to play a lot of musical instruments, but I want to hear more of him singing because he has beautiful voice, haunting and fascinating at the same time.

I Will Follow You into the Dark – Cover by AJ Rafael

AJ truly has a big heart. He made the song extremely touching.

I Will Follow You into the Dark – by Death Cab for Cutie (Original)

The saddest part of death is when you are left behind by someone you dearly love, because it exempts no one. Accepting the finality of death is a rough road to go through… Everything about this song and the music video is brilliant.

I Will Follow You into the Dark
(Lyrics)

Love of mine, some day you will die
But I'll be close behind
I'll follow you into the dark
No blinding light or tunnels to gates of white
Just our hands clasped so tight
Waiting for the hint of a spark

If Heaven and Hell decide
That they both are satisfied
Illuminate the "No's” on their vacancy signs
If there's no one beside you
When your soul embarks
Then I'll follow you into the dark

If Heaven and Hell decide
That they both are satisfied
Illuminate the "No"'s on their vacancy signs
If there's no one beside you
When your soul embarks
Then I'll follow you into the dark

You and me have seen everything to see
From Bangkok to Calgary
And the soles of your shoes are all worn down
The time for sleep is now
It's nothing to cry about
'Cause we'll hold each other soon
In the blackest of rooms

If Heaven and Hell decide
That they both are satisfied
Illuminate the "No"'s on their vacancy signs
If there's no one beside you
When your soul embarks
Then I'll follow you into the dark

Then I'll follow you into the dark

Strangers Again

No relationship is perfect, no matter how much effort we put, or how much we try; we will hurt each other at some point, or worst, end up strangers again.

The beginning is usually the best part of a relationship, but no relationship will stay the same, it will follow certain stages no matter we do.

This short film is remarkable, surely relatable. Watch, I’m certain, it will make you realize something.

We Can't Stop - Boyce Avenue and Bea Miller cover

The Best Cover of “We Can’t Stop”. Boyce Avenue truly never ceases to amaze me. The tone of Bea Miller is awesome. Thumbs Up!

Joseph Vincent

JV's rendition of Grenade is so cool & soulful. He killed it.

This  is probably the coolest Duo Cover of "Just a dream". JV & JC (Jason Chen) are both amazing, but when they are together, its just magic! Thumbs up!

The Best American accent version of "Gitara". lol :)

When We Say - by AJ Rafael

“This hurts so much to know that you're with someone else when you should be with me. It's just hard to accept that I can't be around; He better be treatin' you good”, this part of the song quite bit me. She has her own life now, he better be treating her good.

Your damn good AJ! Your melody is touching indeed.

LYRICS:

When We Say
(AJ Rafael)

Somethin' bout the way
Somethin' bout the way you look in my eyes
You make everything so damn easy
So easy that I don't got to worry about a thing

And baby when we touch
All I can see is the image of us
Sittin' by the ocean, just before the dusk
Sippin' on a juicebox, with sand between our toes

And this is the part when we say we're in love
And the part where we have our first kiss
But this ain't a movie, I know you can't come with me
You got your life, he better be treatin' you right

Just tell me you don't love me
Tell me you don't feel the same way that I do
Tell me I don't make you smile like I do when you walk in the room
You're so... So hard to let go... Oh...

And this is the part when we say we're in love
And the part where we say it's forever
But this ain't a fantasy, I know you can't come with me
You got your life, he better be treatin' you right

This hurts so much
To know that you're with someone else when you should be with me
It's just hard to accept that I can't be around
He better be treatin' you good
I'm no Einstein but I know a sign when I see one
And I know you love me too
And I know you love me too...

And this is the part when we say we're in love
And the part where we have our first kiss
But this ain't a movie, I know you can't come with me
You got your life, he better be treatin' you good... So good...
You got your life, he better be treatin' you...
Treatin' you... Treatin' you right...

Treatin' you right...

Daryl Ong

Daryl’s cover of “Rude” is the best version of the song, better than the original. The tone of his voice and his runs...its perfection. I can’t wait to buy his Album. This man will surely go places.

I always hoped that someone would do a Cover of “Yun Ka” because this is a great song, so when I came across this version, hell I’m like “Wow!Wow!”. I never heard this song this good; way better than the original. I think Daryl has a magic, everything he touches becomes golden.

The Voice of the Philippines Season 2 TOP 15 Auditions

These The Voice Philippines Season 2 Hopefuls are really good, so good that I had a hard time coming up to a Top 10 List; hence I ended up Top 15.

1. Casper Blancaflor – “Kisapmata”
She made her own spin of the song & delivered it so well, I felt the emotions. Her voice feels so sincere and haunting. She is damn good. Kinda Jessa Zaragoza but still unique.

2.  Jason James Dy – “Stay With Me”
He has a seriously amazing talent. His voice quality is Eargasmic! If he is on the same team with Daryl Ong, for sure they will be paired, Thank goodness they are not. J

3.  Ferns Tosco – “Ang Buhay Ko”
An inspirational singer. I love her voice.

4. Shairah Cervancia – “Sabihin Mo Na”
This girl is Marvelous; there is a pleasant roughness in her voice, an alternative rock tone but can sing anything. She definitely can win this.

5. Daryl Ong – “Paano”
I have watched some of his covers even before he joined The Voice. His version of ‘Rude’ is really eargasmic, how i wish yun na lang ang kinanta nya but anyway, his version of "Paano" is amazing. This man has a distinct tone that when you here a song, you know it’s him. He is one to watch in this competition because he has the total package.

6. Kokoi Baldo – “One Day”
He is world class. Im speechless.

7. Daniel Ombao – “Tadhana”
A Soulful singer. I like how he delivered the song.

8. Poppert Bernadas – “Luha”
He has an unbelievable voice quality & range.

9. Turner Rence Lee – “Mateo Singko”
He made me appreciate OPM more. My Respect!

10. Krystina Ng – “House of the Rising Sun”
The song choice is damn good, it fits her incredible voice, maybe be a little dynamics could have made her performance spectacular. A Diamond in the Rough that needs some polishing, but still she's so good.

10. Kai Honasan – “Teenage Dream”
The Daughter of Senator Gringo Honasan. Her voice is so cool and certainly fantastic.

11. Alisah Banaobra – “Domino”
She has The Voice but I hope she made her own spin of the song, bcoz I can’t help but compare with that of Darren’s audition. I know she can do more than this.

12. Jason Fernandez – “Huling El Bimbo”
He is the winner of Rivermaya's search for new "member" back in 2007. He was 16 then. He truly deserves this 2nd chance because he is damn good.

13. Timmy Pavino – “You are My Song”
This man has a Captivating Voice.

14. Leah Patricio – I Will Always Love You”
Leah is a former winner of TV5 Talentadong Pinoy. She has the usual big voice but still phenomenal. She has to step-up her game to bring something new and refreshing.

15. Tanya Diaz – “What About Love”

She has the perfect growl. Incredible!
